What I Learned
Here is what I learned. Zumba is a very intense workout. Make sure that you are in a healthy condition before taking a class. The classes are high energy and last for up to an hour. Don’t drink too much water before the work out, but keep a water bottle and towel nearby for short breaks during class. Too much water before the workout will send you running to the ladies room in the middle of the workout. Instructors will keep your heart in the intense target zone. Therefore, make sure that you are able to keep up with the moves. Things get hot and heavy in Zumba classes fast. Clearly, it is a good idea to wear loose fitting clothing that allows your skin to breathe. Wear supportive, light weight sneakers to make those sudden moves or you might end up on our backside.
